Data Steward

Role Purpose:

Responsible for creating, modifying or deleting data within a specific domain (e.g. Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain) in accordance with company data standards and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Challenges requests for new data creations/modifications (e.g. for completeness, duplication), accepts/rejects.
• Enters data in relevant systems: ERPs etc. Assures data flows from master system to slave systems.
• Produces SLAs and KPIs to ensure high performance.
• Troubleshoots master data issues and resolves discrepancies.
• Suggests process improvements toward data quality, accuracy and security, under the supervision of the Governor.
• Suggests/Executes data cleansing initiatives.
• Follows the master data maintenance process, including the control points in the process.
• Guides other stakeholders in the end-to-end master data maintenance process (from requester to validator) to follow the current process, procedures and controls.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Have excellent Excel skills.
• Have good knowledge of SAP Hana, Concur, Workday, Power BI.
• Experience in Procurement, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service Department.
• Be able to work independently.
• Be fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
