Location: Bilbao HQ Office

The Business Analyst will translate business requirements into detailed function specifications and manage change requests. They will manage the key user community to ensure the key users remain the first line of contact for the larger business transformation programs.

They will also execute IT projects according to the Sibelco project management methodology.

This is a hybrid role; so, you can expect to be in the office two to three days a week as required and should live within a commuting distance to the office.

In the role of Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
 

  • Perform business requirement analysis to identify the function specification needs of the business.
  • Identify the most appropriate solution based on the requirement analysis.
  • Contribute to project definition and the initial cost assessment related to IT, focusing on the IT part.
  • Ensure the key users remain the first line of contact for the larger business transformation programs enabling them to drive further automation across their clusters.
  • Remain aware and knowledgeable of evolutions in IS/IT technology and promote opportunities for deployment.

     

To be successful in the role of Business Analyst, you have to:
 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Practical understanding of the industrial minerals industry.
  • Expertise in current technology advancements and IT capabilities.
  • A self-motivated team player with a proactive approach, analytical and able to work independently.
  • Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish are a must.
