After two successful years, WORKINN returns this year to address the new Industry 4.0 recruitment needs. The demand of profiles in this field rocketed during the second quarter of 2017, with an increase of 50% in searchers for specialists in technologies associated with the implementation of Artificial Intelligence, IoT or Big Data. Nevertheless, as recent studies indicate seven in ten companies find it difficult to recruit their ideal professional profiles, which makes WORKINN a great opportunity for both parties.
Institutions and leading companies such as Fagor Arrasate, Danobatgroup, Fagor Ederlan, Matrici, Dema, SEA Empresarios Alaveses, Fagor Automation, AIMHE and the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) will participate in the Employment and Industrial Training Forum, encouraged by the qualifications of the candidates recruited in 2017. All of them, along with other companies, will present almost 200 quality employment offers for different employee and student profiles in the industrial field, in the sectors of components for automotive, machine-tool, hand tool, fixings, stamping, engineering solutions, construction and metallurgical equipment, among others.
WORKINN, which is organised by the AFM Cluster for Advanced Manufacturing and Bilbao Exhibition Centre, is sponsored by the Basque Government-Lanbide and the Bizkaia Provincial Council.
