The students related to the industrial field and the professionals who are actively seeking a job placement will find specific work and education proposals at the first edition of WORKinn, which will be held from 31 May to 3 June, in parallel to the International Machine-Tool Exhibition. 100 job offers from the participating companies and a keynote speech programme will cover the great matters related to employment, which are the best letter of presentation of this event that seeks to guide, identify talent and promote employment for the best qualified profiles within the machine-tool industry and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Organised by AFM-Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and Bilbao Exhibition Centre, WORKinn will be the first industrial employment and training show in Spain. It will combine different spaces, dedicated to sessions, exhibitions and workshops, with private rooms for interviews and meetings. WORKINN is sponsored by the Bizkaia Provincial Council, Fagor Arrasate, Arisa, Grupo Danobat, Fagor Automation, the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and DEMA. They will take part in the exhibition together with Gestamp, Matrici, Batz, Ikerlan, AFM-Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, the Machine-Tool Institute, the University of Mondragón, Grupompleo, Hays Response, Denbolan, Page Personnel, Aldalan, Antal and Nortempo.
Meanwhile, the conference programme will respond to the latest matters such as dual training, special programmes, experiences abroad, new competences, entrepreneurship and digital tools, among others. The sessions, with titles such as “Competences and Abilities of new professional profiles. Opportunities to access the labour market”, “Experiences in companies during your studies. Stand out!”, “What workers are the companies in our area searching for?”, “Internationalisation and Global Talent”, “Exploring networks. How to make the best of Internet in your job search”. These sessions will be spread out through four days. The Technical Secretary is carried out by Denbolan.
The celebration of WORKinn at the same time as the International Machine-Tool Exhibition offers this new initiative a very solid platform. BIEMH is the main domestic trade show and receives visits from numerous vocational training institutions and universities in each edition. This year the visit of over one hundred educational centres in which training cycles (lower and higher vocational training and university training) of the sector, and over 6,000 students and teachers will participate from A Coruña, Alicante, Asturias, Barcelona, Burgos, Cantabria, Jaén, La Rioja, León, Lugo, Madrid, Menorca, Navarre, Pontevedra, Soria, Tarragona, Toledo Valencia, Valladolid, Zamora and Zaragoza, in addition to the Basque Country.
